OBITUARIES Seth Thomas Seth Thomas "Tom" Gay entered into rest January 24, 2011, in Jenks, Oklahoma, at the age of 82.

Tom was born March 8, 1928, in Freedom, Oklahoma, to Maude Reily Gay and William Ellis Gay. Tom was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, John Gay, Claude Gay and Edward Gay, and stillborn twin sisters. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara F. Gay. He also leaves daughter Marilyn E.

Chenoweth, and husband Terry B. Chenoweth, of Mannford, Oklahoma, and daughter Christine D. Gay and husband, Roger A. Sels, of Anchorage, Alaska. Tom is also survived by granddaughter Leah M.

Clare and husband, Michael J. Clare, three great- grandchildren: Morgan, Shelbi and Jacob pool, and granddaughter Margaret C. Sels of Portland, Oregon, as well as his many beloved family and friends. Tom and Barbara made their home in Jenks for 38 years. Tom joined United States Navy in August 22, 1946, and served his country as a Communications Specialist (Class A).

He spent two years in Guam before serving his favorite assignment as part of the shake down cruise for the commissioning and maiden voyage of the USS Oriskany before leav- "Tom" ing the service in August 21, 1951. Tom graduated from the University of Tulsa in 1956, with a Bachelors of Science in Geology. After his graduation from TU he joined the US Army Corps of Engineers in 1956, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Tom began his thirty-five year career as a field geologist and retired as Chief Geologist at the Corps. Some of his many projects included overseeing the construction of the Port of Catoosa and the Kerr-McClellan Arkansas River Navigation system.

He worked in Saudi Arabia for three years before he retired in 1985. Tom enjoyed many things throughout his life including supporting his alma mater through the Golden Hurricane Club, hitting the golf course, fishing with his family, and traveling the world with his beloved wife. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the University of Tulsa GeoScience Department. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 27, 2011, at Floral Haven Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held 3:00 PM, Friday, January 28, 2011, at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.

She retired in 1989, after 20 years working as a receiving clerk for Vaught Aeronautics in Grand Prairie, TX. Before moving to Texas, she served many years as church secretary at Eagle Heights Baptist Church in Harrison, AR. She moved to Tulsa in 1989, to be near her daughter and family. She loved her church, South Tulsa Baptist, and her many dear friends there, and worked many hours in the church library and with the STBC Primetimers as well as assisting in the kitchen for church functions.

Dwight was born August 15, 1943, in Hulbert, OK, to Sessler Jesse and Dortha (Farmer) James.

Dwight worked as a Lead Systems Consultant for Verizon, a company he'd been with for many years. In June 14, 1975, he married Mary Lynn (Drake) and they were married 35 years. He is survived by his wife: Mary Lynn, daughter: Cari James, Owasso, OK, sons: Randy James, his wife, Rebecca, McKinney, TX, and Peter James, his wife Kim, Skiatook, OK; granddaughters: Hannah, Emmaline Nina P. Williams Nina P. Williams, 83, of Tulsa.

Jesus came for our sweet "Nana" in the early morning of January 25, 2011. Nina Pauline Williams was born February 24, 1927, in Holdenville, OK, to M.B. (Bud) and Della Grizzle. She was married on July 1, 1943, to Dee Williams who predeceased her in 1987. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Dean and son-inlaw, Carlton; three grandchildren Darryl Dean and wife, Andrea; Eric Dean of Tulsa; Tina Saczek and her husband, Mark; great-grands, Savannah and Alexis Saczek of Tyler, TX; one brother, Meredith Grizzle of Holdenville, OK; one sister-in-law, Billie Grizzle Murray of Sherman, TX; and lots of nieces, nephews and friends.

Although we'll miss Nana terribly, we know she's having a glorious reunion in heaven with Dee and her parents as well as her brothers, George Grizzle and wife, Katrina, J.D. Grizzle and wife, Letha, Lewis and wife, Gertrude, Clinton Grizzle; sisters, Martha Crow and hus- and Alyssa; brothers: Don James, his wife, Pam, Tulsa, OK, David James, Edmond, OK; sister: Joyce Hill, Sand Springs, OK; stepbrother: Bobby Ashbrook, Mounds, OK; and special aunt: Shirley Griggs, Ft.
