Your StarLite will come with 512GB Gen3 PCIe SSD storage by default, which features a sequential read speed of up to 3370MB/s. Over-provisioning increases performance and IOPS (Input/Output Operations per Second) whilst enhancing reliability and endurance.

You can configure it with 2TB Gen3 PCIe SSD storage, giving you more storage capacity and increased performance with sequential read speeds up to 3370MB/s.

You can upgrade or replace the SSD; this requires a small Philips screwdriver.

Operating System

The StarLite is built specifically for Linux. You can choose from a selection of pre-installed distributions, including Ubuntu, elementary OS, Linux Mint, Manjaro and Zorin OS.

If you prefer something else, you can choose to have no operating system installed. You can easily change the installed Linux distribution using a USB flash drive.

Please note - for full use the of touchscreen, the selected distribution and desktop environment must support this. We recommend Ubuntu if you want to use it as a primary interface.

Your StarLite will include a USB-C to DC Jack Charge Cable (2m) by default. You can select alternative charging cables. These are available in either 2-metre or 5-metre lengths with either USB-C or DC Jack connectors.

USB-C cables support power, video output and data transfer, whereas DC Jack cables only support power. Both cables charge at the same speed; which cable suits you best will depend on which external devices you plan to connect.
